Prof. Dr. Rajesh Siddavatam is currently working as Vice Chancellor, Saveetha Amaravati University, Andhra Pradesh. He has worked as Pro Vice Chancellor, Adamas University, Kolkata and Dean- QA, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. He was with Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences - BITS - Pilani for 10 years. He did his B.Tech from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati AP in 1998 and M.E. in Robotics from BITS Pilani in 1999. He holds his Ph.D in Computer Vision & Image Processing also from the prestigious BITS Pilani in 2006.
He has a total Work Experience of 15 years out of which 10 years with BITS Pilani and Industry Experience of over 6 years. He was earlier DIRECTOR of Image Information Processing Research Group & Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Jaypee University of IT ( 18,000 crore Jaypee Cements Group), Shimla during 2009-2013. He did his PhD from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Computer Vision & Image Processing titled “Robot Motion Planning using Splines, Wavelets and Image Sampling” under the esteemed guidance of Prof. R K Mittal, DIRECTOR, BITS Dubai in 2006 (http://www.bits-pilani.ac.in/Dubai/directorsMessage).
He was the Founding General Chair for IEEE ICIIP 2011 & 2013 - IEEE International Conference on Image Information Processing related to Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Image Processing.
Prof. Siddavatam is an IEEE Senior Member and Member of IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee and also Member of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery).
